A number of surveillance dichotomies, such as epidemiologic surveillance versus public health surveillance, are described. Current theories, principles, and practice of public health surveillance are summarized.

Hippocrates (460 B.C.–370 B.C.) coined the terms endemic and epidemic, John Graunt (1620–1674) introduced systematic data analysis, Samuel Pepys (1633–1703) started epidemic field investigation, William Farr (1807–1883) founded the modern concept of surveillance, John Snow (1813–1858) linked data to intervention, and Alexander Langmuir (1910–1993) gave the first comprehensive definition of surveillance. Public health surveillance dates back to the first recorded epidemic in 3180 B.C. The game required players to master various cooking techniques within the allotted time to become Head Chef of Hell’s Kitchen. In 2017, Cooking Fever had its second collaboration with Hell’s Kitchen. Players had the opportunity to cook for fans and some of the team’s best-known players such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Neymar, Gerard Piqué and Andrés Iniesta.

In 2016, Cooking Fever had their first collaboration with the FC Barcelona football team. In 2015, Nordcurrent developed game Cooking Fever was awarded as the game of the year by LT Game Awards. Since its release in 2014, Cooking Fever has become one of the most popular Nordcurrent mobile games, having been cumulatively downloaded almost 400 million times since the release.
